The Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Ministry of Works, Housing and Water Resources during a meeting held on Tuesday, 12th August 2025.
Led by the President and Governing Council, the GhIS delegation paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, to explore ways to deepen partnerships and enhance the role of the surveying profession in national development.
The discussions focused on several strategic areas, including:
The Honourable Minister commended GhIS for its long-standing contributions to the built environment sector and expressed the Ministry’s readiness to support initiatives that enhance professional standards and infrastructure delivery.
Both parties agreed to pursue joint programmes and follow-up engagements.
This collaboration reflects GhIS’s unwavering dedication to promoting excellence, innovation, and sustainable development through the surveying profession.
